Young Conductor's Contest

Rachel Cohen, by show of audience applause, won this year's Symphony in the Park Kid's Conducting Contest and led the orchestra in John Sousa's Washington Post March. Conducting contests are also held at the Annual FREE Children's Concert.

Come dressed in costume for this year's Annual FREE Children's Concert and delight in music from the ever-popular Harry Potter, The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Magic Flute Overture.

Seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Doors open a half hour prior to each performance.
