Tango and Romance

Treat your sweetheart to an evening of passion and romance for Valentine’s Day with Quartango and the BSO. The night begins with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, a magnificently orchestrated piece with lively melodies.  Then experience Shakespeare’s classic tale of youthful ardour as it unfolds by turns both passionate and violent through the hauntingly tragic music of Prokofiev from the ballet Romeo & Juliet.  Then turn up the heat as the orchestra along with Quartango and Tango Dancers demonstrate their passion for tango – the result is nothing short of dazzling.
