BSO&C Food Drive: March1-13

Please bring NON-PERISHABLE food items to the March 17 concert,
"Celtic Celebration! "
If you are unable to attend the concert, you may drop off food donations
at the ABT Box Office Lobby March 15 through March 17.

The idea of a food drive was inspired by The Soloist, a film based on a true story of how musicians from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and friendship, made a profound difference in the life of Nathaniel Anthony Ayers, a mentally ill and homeless classical musician who had trained at Julliard.  We encourage you to watch the movie, starring Jamie Foxx as Nathanial Ayers, if you haven't already seen it.

The Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale is one of many orchestras participating in this world-wide effort "Orchestras Feeding America," a program of both the League of American Orchestras and Feeding America.

Last year the statistic was 1 in 8 people go hungry.
This year 1 in 5 people go hungry.
