Please bring NON-PERISHABLE food items to the March 13 concert, Let's Top Last Year's Food Drive Success! The idea of a food drive was inspired by The Soloist, a film based on a true story of how musicians from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and friendship, made a profound difference in the life of Nathaniel Anthony Ayers, a mentally ill and homeless classical musician who had trained at Julliard. We encourage you to watch the movie, starring Jamie Foxx as Nathanial Ayers, if you haven't already seen it. The Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale is one of many orchestras participating in this world-wide effort "Orchestras Feeding America," a program of both the League of American Orchestras and Feeding America.
